26th Legnica International Jewellery Competition IDENTITY

On this year`s competition 561 pieces were submitted by 342 artists from 42 countries. International jury composed of: Leo Caballero (Spain), Sławomir Fijałkowski (Poland), Mariusz Gliwiński (Poland), Eija Mustonen (Finland), Barbara Schmidt (Germany) chose to the exhibition 56 artists.

AWARDS IN THE COMPETENCE OF THE JURY

1. Nils Schmalenbach - Germany
Grand Prix – 10.000 PLN + 1 kg of silver

 

2. Ludmila Šikolová – Czech Republic
2nd Award of the Marshall of the Lower Silesia Province – 5.000 PLN + 1 kg of silver

 

3. Ria Lins – Belgium
3rd Award of the Mayor of the Legnica City – 3.000 PLN + 1 kg of silver

 

4. BASTARD Collection (Ingrid Römmich, Veronika Schmidt) – Germany
Award of the Gallery of Art in Legnica – solo exhibition with catalogue worth 4500 PLN

 

5. Mieczysław Gryza – Poland
The Organizers’ Special Award for creative courage and uncompromising attitude, innovation or sense of humour “Silver Spur” + 1 kg of silver
