TAMARA GRŰNER
UNCOMMON GROUND
Exhibition of a German artist in whose work naturalness and artificiality form an intense bond and the game with these opposites is the central theme of her actual body of works.
The transformation of the lavish ornaments of the Baroque into contemporary jewelry has long characterized the work of Tamara Grüner. Inspired by the Berlin iron jewellery of the 19th century she combines pressed and stamped elements in the historicism style with black porcelain and plastic.
