The winners of the 31th IJC QUALITY
The winners of the 31st International Jewellery Competition QUALITY was announced during the culmination of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER on May 6, 2023.
The culmination of the 43rd edition of the Legnica SILVER Festival organized by the Art Gallery in Legnica is behind us. On May 5 and 6, openings of all 12 exhibitions organized as part of this year's Festival took place, as well as various accompanying events, such as a concert, workshops and a popular science session. Once again, for two days, Legnica was a real Mecca for artists-goldsmiths and jewelery experts and lovers from all over the country and many corners of the world. It is safe to say that from the Railway Station to the Knights' Academy, Legnica breathed SILVER.

Silver weekend in Legnica
The culmination of the Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER, which took place on 5 and 6 May, is behind us. The Gallery of Art in Legnica turned into an international arena for the presentation of contemporary jewellery design, attracting several hundred artists from all over Poland, as well as many countries around the world, including Germany, Slovakia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Norway, Japan, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Portugal and Greece. The Festival audience included artists and lovers of artistic jewellery who have been visiting Legnica for years, as well as artists who were working with the Gallery for the first time.

Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER 2023
The next edition of Legnica Jewellery Festival SILVER – one of the biggest reviews of artistic jewellery in Europe – is underway. This year's edition of the event features 13 exhibitions, all located in the city centre. Solo and group exhibitions by artists from Poland and abroad will present a wide spectrum of the latest achievements in contemporary jewellery. There will be presentations from the well-known series – About the Authors, Silver Schools and Debuts – as well as photo and poster exhibitions accompanying the International Jewellery Competition.

31st IJC QUALITY - list of qualified participants
The Jury of the 31st International Jewellery Competition „Quality” composed of: prof. Sławomir Fijałkowski (Poland), prof. Piotr Korduba (Poland) David Sandu (Romania), prof. Ludmila Šikolová (Czech Republic), Ana Pina (Portugal) evaluated 317 works by 189 artists from 30 countries, qualifying works by 40 artists from 16 countries for the main exhibition.

One of the many aspects of the pandemic realities of the past years was the rapid development of technology, which manifested itself in all areas of our lives - including field of culture and art.
Online vernissages, virtual exhibitions, debates and lectures, which we attended without leaving our homes, made us absorb technological innovations and become specialists in online platforms.
